Shipping policy
- Shipping Code: All free shipping coupon codes ignore shipping rates higher than $15. Free shipping offers can not be applied after your order is placed.
- Shipping Prices: Shipping prices are calculated at check-out and are based on the weights and sizes of products in your virtual shopping cart.

Carriers: We mainly ship via UPS and usually provide same-day shipping on orders received by 2:00 PM EST. We cannot ship to post office boxes.
- The day that the package ships is NOT considered a day in transit. Saturday & Sundays are not counted as days in transit. Packages may arrive at any time of day.
- Holiday or High Volume Order Turnaround: During the Holiday Season, promotional times or sales, orders may take longer than usual to be filled, processed and shipped. Please plan accordingly and allow an extra two to four days during late autumn through the Holidays and New Year or when special promotions or sales are occurring.
- What happens after I place an order?: After you place an order you will see an order confirmation page. You will then receive the order confirmation through e-mail, so you have it for your records. If there is an error regarding product, shipping address or other details on the order confirmation, please contact us immediately.
- Please Note: You must contact Reading Coffee Company immediately upon receipt of your confirmation e-mail if any order details are incorrect. This includes: incorrect shipping address, incorrect product selection, incorrect grind size, etc... Free shipping offers can not be applied after your order is placed. This is the responsibility of the customer.
- Item Substitutions: At times, a similar or comparable item may be substituted in the event the item ordered is out of stock or indefinitely backordered. If you wish to refund your substituted item instead before the time of shipping, please contact us.
- Lost or Stolen Packages: We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages confirmed to be delivered. Upon inquiry, we will confirm delivery to the provided address including tracking information and date of delivery for the customer to investigate or file a claim.

Shipping Disclaimer for Chocolates and Candy: We are not responsible for any shipping issues that may arise with chocolates and candy during the summer or warmer months. Due to the warm temperatures, there is a risk of melting or other damage to these products during transit. We cannot guarantee that chocolates and candy will arrive in perfect condition. By placing an order for these items, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
- Options for Payment: We accept all major credit cards, including VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
- Restrictions and Guidelines: Free shipping offers are routinely offered and may not be combined with other sales, discounts or offers. Coupon codes, discounts or free shipping offers cannot be applied after your order is submitted. All free shipping coupon codes ignore shipping rates higher than $15.
- International Shipping Options: We currently ship internationally by special arrangement only. Please call our Orders Department for more information.
- Delays: We are not responsible for shipping delays once the order has reached one of our shipping partners. Shipping delays may be experienced due to severe weather conditions (i.e. hurricanes, tornadoes, severe snow or rainstorms, flooding, etc.). These situations are considered to be out of our control and are not eligible for refunds for shipping charges.

Order Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel your order anytime prior to processing and shipping. Note that most orders received by 2 pm EST will ship out the same day, Monday through Friday, though this is not guaranteed.
- Customized flavors, blends, personalized labeling and wholesale orders may not be cancelled.
- Customer error in regard to the selection of the type of coffee grind size may not be cancelled or refunded.
Please Note: The Reading Coffee Company is not responsible for stolen packages or deliveries made to the incorrect shipping address. Shipping tracking numbers are generated with every transaction so that you may follow the progress of your shipment.
Shipping Damage Disclaimer
Reading Coffee Company is not responsible for any damage that occurs to products during shipping, including but not limited to Monin Syrups, Hollander Chocolates, and Lotus Products. Once your order has been handed over to the carrier, any damage that occurs in transit is the responsibility of the shipping carrier. We recommend inspecting your package upon arrival and contacting the carrier directly to file a claim if any items are damaged.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to hold Reading Coffee Company harmless from any claims, liabilities, or damages related to shipping issues, including but not limited to damage caused by the carrier during transit.
Local Order Pick-Up Policy
Orders placed online at readingcoffee.com are available for local pickup at our Birdsboro Roastery at 316 West Main Street, Birdsboro, Pennsylvania.
- Order Processing Time: Most orders are ready within 2 business days. Our e-commerce fulfillment team operates Monday through Friday only.
Important Pickup Info
Please do not arrive to pick up your order before receiving an email confirmation that it is ready. We kindly ask that you do not call to check order status immediately after placing an order.
Once your order is complete, you’ll receive an email letting you know it’s ready for pickup.
Fresh Coffee, Always
All of our coffees are shipped in heat-sealed, heavily lined foil bags with a one-way freshness valve, leading to a healthy shelf life. That said, don’t overbuy if you aren’t going to use the coffee in a reasonable amount of time. Keep in mind, whole bean coffee will keep much longer than ground coffee.
